Servings/Yield

Brownies may be baked in an 11 by 7 inch pan but will take about 25 minutes

This recipe came from John Bauhs, White House chef, who is a native of Portage. He cooked for more than two years at the White House during portions of the clinton and George W Bush administrations.
According to Bauhs, Bush likes his brownies to have a cake-like consistency and standout chocolate taste- but no nuts. To fulfill this request, half the chocolate chips are melted and mixed into the batter. The rest are stirred in whole.
